day 34 || diptych || flower, lines, complementary colors

Motioning into the day. A mantra I carry with me from a decade ago when life stalled out artistically. Every journal entry from that time mentions "motion", "emotion", "motioning", "emoting" -- a litany to motivate, push myself forward. Once I thought of marking the words across my forearm, gothic letters, as a constant reminder. Like my mother's voice, a gentle persuasion, nudging me forward.
